Help build the Next Gen Applications Suite. Perform as a key contributor to an engineering team that builds and supports exceptional products that provide innovative solutions to challenging business use cases, existing systems, and operational problems. Participate in architectural design, system analysis, and programming activities on application software; this may often require independent research and study. Develop high-quality and production-ready software by using best-practice data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and frameworks that are maintainable, scalable, responsive, and secure. Write highest quality code with utmost attention to scalability, security, and performance and with an end-to-end mindset from conception to delivery and production support, owning specifications, quality, release deployments, and monitoring of production health. Produce complete, simple, and readable technical documentation for everything developed and maintain a team culture of documenting everything. Test and ensure quality of all code that is developed in line with principles of test-driven development and continuous delivery, utilizing test automation frameworks wherever possible. Participate in code-reviews, provide technical guidance and mentor software engineers. Collaborate closely with engineering leadership, Product Managers, Designers, Test Automation, and other teams and business units to define, prioritize, sequence, and scope business and functional requirements and drive results. Instrument infrastructure and application performance monitoring, capacity management, alerting, tools instrumentation and metrics (KPI) management. Maintain knowledge, ensure competency and compliance with policies and procedures, in order to be the technical expert while collaborating with cross-functional teams. On-call for production support from 7 AM PST to 6 PM PST during the weekdays and occasional support for production issues.

RESPONSIBILITIESJava/Spring framework;Full stack development;Rest and SOAP web services implementation;Database design and modeling;Leading and managing small to large enterprise network implementations or changes including implementing large-scale on-demand or high availability systems, and developing business-facing or business-tiered level object oriented solutions;Guiding, training, and mentoring associate engineers including communicating design intent or solutions to the team through design and/or code reviews;Knowledge and application of competency and can consult as well as lead others in its application including knowledge of business domain specifics and/or rules.

QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related role.
