The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in teaching, mentoring, scholarship, and clinical care in both community-based clinic and hospital settings.Areas of expertise include:General OB-GYNPrenatal care, including high-risk pregnanciesGynecologic care and surgeryObstetrical deliveries, procedures, and surgeryBreastfeeding supportAnnual gyn examsContraception CounselingHormone replacement therapyAbnormal uterine bleeding and common gyn concernsUltrasound (AIUM certification a plus)Education:Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from LCME-/COCA-accredited medical school.Certification(s) and License(s):Licensed by Virginia Board of MedicineGraduate of ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency ProgramCurrent certification by ABOG Fellow ACOGCurrent DEAMinimum 2 years’ experience in private practice or teaching faculty positionSkills:Strong oral and written communication skills.Collaborative approach with other physicians and providers.More about Riverside, a great place to workWe are one of the area's larger employers, with about 10,000 team members.
