As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks. We can also offer part time.Responsibilities:- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with medical procedures- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers- Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing- Assist with patient education and provide support and guidance to patients and their families- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers- Handle medical administrative support tasks such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and handling insurance documentation- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and proceduresQualifications:- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracyWe offer competitive compensation packages along with opportunities for professional growth and development.
