INDUSTRIAL
environment and live in Hancock County, Harrison County, Pearl River, Slidell or St. Tammany Parish.Job duties are but are not limited to:Loading and unloading steel pipe from spiral-weld machines, rollers, and conveyancesAssist machine operators on machinery used in the steel pipe spiral-weld production processGuiding steel pipe along rollers & production platforms for further processing & inspectionAssisting Welder’s in steel pipe repair (inside & outside of steel pipe)Grinding inside & outside of steel pipeAssisting with steel pipe paint coating processOther industrial production duties as assignedMUST HAVE
PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN AN INDUSTRIAL WORK ENVIRONMENTMUST HAVE
Reliable TransportationMUST HAVE
Steel-toed Boots/Shoes (Hard Hat and Safety glasses provided with a payroll deduction)This is a PHYSCIALLY DEMANDING positionMUST
be comfortable working in close quartersMUST
be able to work in non-climate-controlled environment (NO AC)MUST
be able to work a 12-hour shift standing on feet that switches from morning to graveyard every two weeks.
