PrideStaff Hattiesburg is seeking an experienced Electricians Helper on behalf of our client in Hattiesburg, MS. In this role, the Electricians Helper will perform the following duties:Assist the electrician on the job with tasks of his requestCut metal components for installation.Measure materials or objects for installation or assemblyTest electrical equipment or systems to ensure proper functioningInstall electrical components, equipment, or systemsRepair electrical equipmentInspect electrical or electronic systems for defectsThread wire or cable through ducts or conduitsDrill holes in construction materialsFabricate parts or componentsClean work sitesMaintain construction tools or equipmentMove construction or extraction materials to locations where they are neededOrder construction or extraction materials or equipmentAssemble temporary equipment or structuresDig holes or trenchesRemove debris or vegetation from work sitesPosition construction or extraction equipmentBreak up rock, asphalt, or concreteWeld metal components and apply paint to surfaces
QUALIFICATIONS:Proven previous experience helping or assisting an electricianHigh school diploma or equivalentMust be detail orientedMust be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
