Our client in the DFW area is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting department!
The Senior Accountant will have experience in the following:Duties & Responsibilities:Perform month-end and year-end closeout processesPrepare, post, and adjust month-end close GL journal entriesMaintain financial statements, such as balance sheets, with reconciliationsEnsure accuracy and completeness of GL journal entries, financial reconciliations, and month-end reportsInvestigate variance analysis and present findings to managementRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field requiredCPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification preferredStrong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required (pivot tables, vlookups, xlookups, etc.)Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
