Job Description: Position Title: Transportation Quality Manager Location: Bothell, WA Reporting to: Sr. Director, Product Quality On-Site/Hybrid/Remote: On-site/Hybrid/Remote Travel Required: 0% - 10% The Genie Transportation Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all goods and services transported meet the highest quality standards. This role is crucial for ensuring that the transportation industry functions at the highest possible level, with quality products delivered on time and on budget. Must have experience with ocean bound freight. Main Duties & Responsibilities Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulations and customer requirements Monitor and analyze data to identify trends, root causes of problems, and opportunities for improvement Conduct audits and assessments of suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure adherence to quality standards Train and educate employees on quality control procedures and best practices Prepare reports and presentations to communicate quality performance and improvement initiatives to upper management and stakeholders Investigate customer complaints and ensure corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence Manage product and process validation activities, including documentation and testing Coordinate and participate in process improvement projects, including Lean and Six Sigma initiatives Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field such as engineering or transportation logistics (or an additional 3 years of experience) 5 - 7 years' experience in quality assurance or a related field, preferably within the transportation and packaging industry Strong understanding of transportation regulations and standards Experience with ocean bound freight Excellent communication and organizational skills The compensation range for this position is $98,000 - $105,000 annually.
