PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Wide range of patients from Pediatrics to Geriatrics.
Most of the area is economically depressed.
We are a level 2 trauma center, Chest pain center, primary stroke center.pedi pts. 5%
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Level 2 trauma center with 4 Critical care bays.
Teleneurology for stroke in cooperation with Mass General HospitalNo PICU - transfer outmids variable 10-10 or 11-11no float or call
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: US, bladder scanner, neuro tele computer, Care Aware hand held devices
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Omnicell, Cerner first net, SBAR
UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 hours
SCRUBS: Navy Blue
