Certification Details Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, KY License Job Details Travel position available for Intermediate/Step Down Cardiac Unit RN Specializing in post OP Coronary Bypass Graft, Valve surgery, Chest pain, Dysrhythmia with pre/post Pacemaker/AICD placement, pre/post Cath Lab, CHF Patient Ratios: 4:1 or 5:1 (6:1 if floated to other units) Equipment: IV Pumps, Chest tubes, Epicardial pacing wires EMR: Cerner Job Requirements 2 years of experience required Must have Cardiac PCU experience, CABG experience Cardiac PCU experience, CABG experience required Preferred Skillset/Experience: Competent post cath sheath removal, cardiac drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem, etc.), and heparin Personality Fit: Team oriented Schedule Information Shift: 6:45PM - 7:15AM Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekend Hours: Every other weekend Call Requirements: None Float Requirements: Yes – any PCU or Med Surg units Unit Specific Information Number of Beds: 16 beds Type of Patients on Unit: Intermediate, step-down unit, PCU Specializes in post op open heart, dysthymia, chest pain, CHF, CABG patients post-op day 1-2 until discharge Additional Details Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue Dress Code: Specify unacceptable attire if any
