Job Overview:The Infrastructure Delivery Install Technician role is responsible for the day-to-day installation of servers, network equipment, structured cabling, and capacity management. The position involves working in a dynamic environment to ensure the stability and scalability of next-generation networks. Key tasks include installing structured cabling, managing infrastructure inventory, and physically installing network and server racks. This role requires reporting to an assigned site, with potential assignments at various locations in Ohio, including Hilliard, New Albany, and Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:Partner with cable vendors to install, inspect, and troubleshoot cabling.Install, test, and maintain copper and fiber cable infrastructure, including patch panels and patch cords.Ensure all data center and vendor installations comply with installation standards.Manage tasks and priorities via a ticketing system, providing updates and reports.Document problems, maintain records, and execute changes within data centers.Move integrated enterprise equipment from loading docks to designated positions.Coordinate and verify daily delivery of materials to the site.Maintain site cleanliness and high-quality workmanship.Carry a cell phone for communication, information sharing, and emergencies.Travel Requirements:

Up to 50% travel within the designated geographical area, with potential travel outside the traditional work area.Physical Requirements:

Walk through job sites with uneven terrain.Safely work at heights and use ladders.Perform site walks and complete installation tasks for up to 10-hour shifts.Regularly lift and move up to 40 pounds; group lifts will be used for heavier items.Qualifications and Skills:

Strong understanding of computer, server, switch, and networking device installation and troubleshooting, both hardware and software.Technical aptitude with a willingness to learn and apply new technologies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to effectively interact with people in a variety of situations.Ability to manage work priorities and meet project deadlines.
