OVERVIEW
The TechOps Intern assists the IT organization in operating in the most effective and efficient manner possible, to facilitate the effective utilization, adoption, and financial benefits of the technology UHM employs. They will actively participate in audit, data analysis, financial analysis, and policy creation activities across domains within the IT organization.

Our internship program gives students a chance to meet new people, gain more experience, and learn from the best in the business!
Our interns are treated like full-time Partners who work 40 hours a week during the 3-month summer program, are compensated, and based out of headquarters in Strongsville, Ohio.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the creation, updating, and auditing of IT financial forecast models Assist in managing vendor information within ITSM tool Create company profiles on potential new vendors as well as update current profiles on existing vendors Provide information and direction to IT teams based upon IT Vendor Framework Assist in the creation and maintenance of career pathing/development plans for IT organization Maintain and update IT organizational charts Coordinate with Training department on the creation and maintenance of IT training materials for topics across the IT department portfolio of applications Assist with the creation of weekly communication plans to coordinate all IT touchpoints in the upcoming week Execute IT organization wide communications, as designated by the weekly communication plan Assist with the creation and execution of agendas for Vendor meetings Manage and maintain IT onboarding plans and materials Provides insight and recommendations to improve efficiency and workflows Verifies the proper execution of documented IT procedures Facilitate the tracking of productivity & performance metrics across all IT groups and applications Facilitate IT delivery of compliance audit discovery and finding remediation Qualifications
SKILLS REQUIRED
Great verbal and written communication skills Ability to lead and influence across the IT organization and external departments Strong organizational and planning skills Positive working attitude, contributing as an individual and team member to accomplish goals Strong analytical skills, decisiveness, and sound judgment Awareness of current and evolving IT best practices Ability to manage time and adapt to changes in workflow EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related major Sophomore, Junior or Senior Standing.
