Urgent Care Physician Assistant
at the
Dumfries Health Center in Dumfries, Virginia
to support the active duty and dependents in the National Capitol Region.
This opportunity will offer:Supportive environmentAccess to specialty services to include pediatrics, radiology, pharmacy and lab; all located in the same buildingFull complement of benefits to include medical, dental & vision insurance, 401k, life insurance and morePaid time off and Sick Leave, Paid CME time, and 11 paid Federal Holidays per year.All patients are Tricare insured to include active military, qualifying veterans and their dependentScheduling
Urgent Care hours are of 7am to 8pm Monday through Friday & 8am to 2pm on Saturday .Full-time, 40 hours per week Monday through Friday from 7 pm to 8 pm; Saturday from 7 am to 2 pm on rotation . No Sundays!Aspects of the UCC
2-3 patients per hourExtension of the ED at Ft. BelvoirIf a patient is presented that exceeds the scope that can be seen in the clinic, patient is transferred to the nearest EDBLS only facility-No crash cartsWill not typically see overflow from our primary clinicsSupport staff (Nursing & MA)Stable culture with Senior Physician & Nursing leadershipJob Requirements:
All active State licenses acceptedAt least 1 year of experience working Urgent Care/ERActive BLS and ALCS certificationsActive DEA registrationFor More Information Contact:
