NursePractitioner / Physician AssistantNew Port Richey, FLWe are currentlyseeking a NursePractitioner / Physician Assistant to join our practice. Our ideal NursePractitioner / Physician Assistant will hold a current unrestricted Florida license. Ourmedical providers are experts in Primary Care Practice and we take pride inkeeping our patients happy and healthy through our excellent care and servicein a cost effective manner. The APRN/PA-C will assist in themedical care of patients in outpatient setting, will provide direct patientcare, discussing patient symptoms and concerns, doing some minor skin biopsyalong with aesthetic procedures. The APRN/PA-C will also have direct reportingresponsibility to the supervising physician of the respective patients for allevaluations and other duties performed.NursePractitioner / Physician Assistant - Schedule, Compensation &Benefits$105K - $130K dependingon candidate plus productivity bonus40 hours a week, M-F, no call, no weekendsClinic Schedule: 7am - 7pm Monday -Thursday and 7am - 3:30pm on FridayHealthcare, CME, PTO,and licensing feesSupport staffRequirements for the NursePractitioner / Physician AssistantMust hold current APRN or PA credentials andbe in good standing.Prior experience in a primary care setting a PLUSPrior background and experience in aestheticprocedures highly preferredValid Florida state license for practice.Proficiency with ECW EMR system (preferred)Responsibilities for the NursePractitioner / Physician AssistantCollect, record, and maintain patientinformation, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.Analyze records, reports, testresults, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patients.Make diagnoses when differentillnesses occur together or in situations where the diagnosis maybe obscure.Explain procedures and discuss testresults or prescribed treatments with patients.Prescribe or administer medication,therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness,disease, or injury.Monitor patients' conditions andprogress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary.
