CAD Drafter

This individual will support our client, one of the world’s largest engineering, construction, technical and management firms. Job Responsibilities

The CAD Drafter will be based in Washington, DC, and will support multiple industrial design projects. Additional responsibilities of the CAD Drafter include:

• Preparing plans from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures
• Working closely with other designers, drafters, tradespersons and engineers to ensure a coordinated design
• Applying standard drafting / design principles and theories to complete assignments
• Utilizing technical manuals to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable standards and codes
• Managing and maintaining all master and project drawings
• Compiling data and performing dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings
