Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Compensation: $110,000 - $140,000
Residency Requirement: Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. permanent residents residing in the U.S.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will architect, develop, and implement cutting-edge telecommunications products. This role involves the implementation of DSP algorithms and requires a diverse skill set, making it ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit. Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop new telecommunication products to drive company growth.
- Implement DSP algorithms, develop drivers and APIs, and design operations and maintenance (O&M) functions.
- Support automated test development efforts and debugging network issues with TCP/IP protocols.
- Work on diverse projects from conceptual design through to implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related field; Master's in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional experience in an embedded Linux environment.
- Proven track record of completing projects from inception to deployment.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in embedded software design and implementation for Linux platforms.
- Experience interfacing Linux platforms with FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) and other hardware.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming within an embedded Linux environment.
- Familiarity with FPGA and DSP (Digital Signal Processing) technologies.
- Experience with Linux distributions such as Ubuntu and Yocto.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality standards is a plus.
