Senior Systems Analyst

Job Description:

Fidelity Institutional Business Enablement Technology is seeking an experienced, skilled and energetic Senior Systems Analyst to fill a position within the Fidelity Institutional Business Enablement Technology data squad located in Smithfield, RI.

The candidate will be responsible for providing leadership on complex systems analysis projects as well as providing influence with our business partners to develop recommendations that address business needs and opportunities.\u00A0 Additionally, the candidate will be skilled in negotiating business priorities through partnership with product owners and translating needs back to the team for timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and fall in love with the problem at hand, working through systems analysis and team collaborations to solve it.

This position requires an independent thinker and collaborator, who demonstrates analytical thinking, active listening. And champions continuous improvement.

The Team

The squad supports a CRM system where we are currently migrating to Salesforce. Our team partners closely with the Fidelity Institutional (FI) Market Readiness Team, is innovative, diverse, passionate, self-driven and customer obsessed.

The Expertise You Have

• 5+ years of Systems Analysis experience, with a solid understanding of data intensive applications.

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

• Experience working in a Full Stack environment (UI, Middleware and Database layers).

The Skills You Bring

• Demonstrated expertise interviewing and extracting high quality business requirements from stakeholders.\u00A0

• Demonstrated experience with Oracle and Snowflake

• Familiarity with Scrum methodology, creating and refining stories, leading refinements

• You love working with data and are confident in your SQL skills.\u00A0

• Your passion for data analysis with the ability to navigate and master complex transactional, relational and warehouse databases.\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0

• Experience with RESTful Web APIs

• Experience in production support, bulk script creation

• Experience with Salesforce Admin/Business Analyst skills a plus

• Familiarity with DevOps and release processes is a plus

• Excellent analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills. Including strong judgement, issues management and problem analysis techniques.\u00A0

• Excellent interpersonal, relationship management and facilitation skills.\u00A0

• Demonstrated ability to effectively balance multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must be an organized, self-starter with a collaborative work style and customer service focus.\u00A0

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.\u00A0
