Supplier Quality Engineer - Machining and Metal Parts

Job Description:

• Expert in reading and interpreting machining drawings and metal parts specifications.
• Conduct thorough receiving inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Document non-conformities and deviations in SAP for accurate tracking.
• Perform root cause analysis and work strategically with suppliers to resolve issues effectively.
• Develop and implement corrective actions with suppliers for long-term quality improvement.
• Coach and assess suppliers during on-site visits to enhance their processes and quality performance.
• Collaborate with the purchasing team to support strategic sourcing decisions.
• Lead supplier audits and follow-up on corrective actions to ensure compliance.
• Ensure supplier readiness and capability to meet manufacturing and quality standards.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers to drive continuous improvement and cost-effective solutions.
