We make delicious all-natural dumplings and bao buns from scratch available in over 5,000 retail locations nationwide, including Whole Foods, Sprouts, Kroger, and Walmart, as well as operating a brick and mortar location inside Union Market, DC's premier food hall. Our vision is to become the leading frozen East Asian brand of the next generation, delivering delicious innovation across a number of product categories and channels. As the Director of Sales, you will drive our sales strategy by setting ambitious goals and optimizing distribution channels. Reporting directly to the Founder/CEO, you will lead retailer partnerships, manage promotional initiatives, and ensure best-in-class brand presentation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our sales organization, enhance trade spend effectiveness, and influence our overall growth trajectory in a dynamic environment.Responisbilities:

Driving overall sales strategy-sales goals (PODs and revenues), identification and prioritization of points of distribution, approach, partners and team.Managing submissions and retailer reviews, including maintaining best in class brand presentation inclusive of brand and category data storytelling, promotional support plans and offers that negotiate terms.Optimizing trade spend and pricing with retailers and distributors. Analyzing and planning spend on promotions, other offers, off-shelf opportunities, marketing opportunities, as well as optimal timing.Managing systems and infrastructure to track sales and promotional performance.Coordinating review of deductions and chargebacks performed by partners.Managing demand planning.Managing broker partners.Develop sales organization process SOPs, including ongoing account management and regular data reviews.Who You Are

You should be analytical and data-driven, and not afraid to challenge conventional wisdom with evidence.The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience managing sales efforts for a food and beverage brand. Prior training in large CPG or similar environments would also be a valuable asset.Benefits
