Top Secret Web Designer/UI Developer

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Web Designer/UI Developer with Angular experience to join a federal program. This position supports the customer's go-to product for a high-profile delivery function and will provide the opportunity of experience with innovative and cross-fabric digital solutions. You will work to transform a client-based solution to a modern web-based user experience. At times, you'll work closely with product integrators and external customers to identify challenging technical issues. Our client is looking to pay anywhere between $50-$80/hr. This is a short-term contract with the project lasting anywhere from 4-8 months. Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
* Work closely with the whole team to understand functional requirements and make recommendations regarding UI design, solutions, and procedures
* Review software requirements and assist with design decisions
* Ensure 508 Compliance
* Participate in Agile scrum meetings
* Design, develop, and test software applications using:
o Angular (12 or higher) using node.js and TypeScript
o JavaScript, HTML, CSS
* Provide end-user testing assistance

Required Skills & Experience
* Active Top Secret clearance
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* At least 7 years of experience in web development, with experience in:
o Platforms/ Architecture styles such as Javascript, HTML, CSS, Angular Material UI components
o Development Process and Tools such as Angular (v2-12) Single Page Web Applications using node.js and TypeScript
* Ability to balance UI/UX design needs with customer requirements
* JIRA experience
* Ability to learn and apply functional concepts very quickly
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Experience with developing replacement systems and meeting user expectations and implied requirements
* Experience with HighView
* Experience with PL/SQL
* Experience with WCF RESTful Web Services (c# .NET) or equivalent REST technologies
