Financial Reporting Analyst

One of Southern California’s largest, privately-held Utilities Companies is expanding operations in San Fernando and seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to support the finance team.Responsibilities:Preparation, development, implementation, and monitoring of the annual Operating and Capital BudgetsMonitor operating and capital budgets and key performance indicators and prepare financial analyses, reports, and presentationsAnalyze financial data and create financial models to forecast future performance and alternative scenariosCollaborate cross-functionally to develop and maintain accurate forecasts and budgetsPresent financial reporting to leadership, including variance analysis and ad hoc reportsMonitor customer and supplier pricing, make recommendations for rates that improve margin, and promote business healthImplement and maintain custom and contract ratesBuild analytic tools to assess the performance of established pricingCreate business recommendations informed by data-driven analysis to support the decision-making processPartner with internal stakeholders on cross-functional projectsSupport the Analytics team by completing ad-hoc analysesRequirements:Bachelors Degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain, or a similar major5+ years experience in financial analysis or data analysis rolesWorkDay
