Acquisition Analyst IV
to support the PM Soldier Survivability (PM SSV) project office under Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier, Ft. Belvoir, VA. This position will afford you an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and cohesive team whose mission is to provide and rapidly deliver enhanced protection, individual equipment, and aviation life support capabilities, which provides combat overmatch and facilitates mission execution.

As an Acquisition Analyst IV you will be expected to provide the following support to the Project Manager Soldier Survivability:
Executes acquisition management across an entire product line.
Coordinates products and taskings across the acquisition process and life cycle phases.
Prepares, configures and staffs all Milestone documentation.
Assists with determining contracting strategy, prepares contracting documents, and coordinates activities with Army Contracting Command.
Participate in source selection boards and conduct technical evaluations.
Leads and provides oversight of product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations.
Assists in providing contract oversight for assigned products.
Maintains and manages the program budget and master schedule.
Identifies cost, schedule and performance tradeoffs.
Lead and oversee preparation of Supply Requests Packages to Defense Logistics Agency and manage transition of products from PM to DLA or Army Sustainment.
Develop and draft Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans and other acquisition documents.
Leads tasks supporting pre award contracts, financial management, risk management, total ownership cost determination, and contract coordination.
Coordinates contracting actions with local procurement contracting officers.
Performs acquisition strategy requirements.
Required Clearance:
ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Government Clearance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
At least eighteen (18) years related work experience is required.
Acquisition career specialization aligned to duty assignment (i.e. Program Management, Contracting, Logistics)
Equivalent or experience commensurate with DAWIA Level III certification in Acquisition Career Field, OR Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Expert knowledge and demonstrated skills in: Managing cost, schedule, performance in a program office, Product Life Cycle Management, Project Team Management, Preparing Acquisition and Contracting documents (to include J&A, Souce Selection Plans, PWS, IGCE, D&F), WAWF, iRAPT, cost analysis, Project Management, database management, GFEBS, DODI 5000.02, Defense Acquisition System JCIDS.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours. This position is currently authorized for hybrid telework which currently includes two days on-site and three days telework. This telework designation is subject to change at the discretion of the Government.
