Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned)

Utilize the risk management system to confirm physical and financial energy commodity trades including but not limited to gas, power, emission and transmission for wholesale activity.

Job Responsibilities

Assist with negotiation of physical and financial entry disputes in coordination with Contract Administration, Front Office, Legal, Risk Control, Risk Analysis and other internal departments.

Manage Outlook inbox daily

Reconcile broker confirmations to risk management system.

Reconcile FCM Exchange trades to risk management system.

Reconcile counterparty via eConfirm, OATI, OASIS website entries to risk management system.

Support financial transactions related to Dodd Frank reporting processes.

Create and deliver daily internal confirmations to counterparties.

Ensure confirmations are sent, received and returned in accordance with company procedures.

Review and execution of daily counterparty confirmations received.

Identify and correct trade discrepancies between broker, counterparties and exchange confirmations.

Generate and reconcile daily status reports and queries to management regarding the status of all key initiative checkout processes. Also includes various monthly reports.

Responsible for electronic confirmation filing.

Analyze trade updates and controls for all trades created by Contracts Trade conveyance processes for name changes, mergers and acquisitions.

Handle internal and external audit requests

Other duties and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typically requires 3+ years’ experience.

Additional Benefit - Hybrid with On-Site in Houston, TX: Three times a week with Manager approval
