We're on a hunt for a detail-oriented, analytical QA Specialist to ensure our products/services meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes, conduct testing and collaborate with cross functional teams.
salary: $17 - $18 per hourshift: Thirdwork hours: 2 AM - 12 PMeducation: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
•Monitoring current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), HACCP and prerequisite programs includingSanitation, Pest control etc.; performing corrective actions as necessary•Maintaining QA records, including electronic records of inspections, temperatures and verificationequipment•Inspects Raw Ingredients as needed and verifies the receiving reports for condition of deliveries duringreceiving.•Perform Finished Product and Data collection•Verify HACCP critical limits•Perform pre-operational and operational inspections as required•Performs employee trainings as directed.•Perform product evaluations and laboratory analysis which may include aw, moisture content, Ph, ATPorganoleptic inspection of Finished Products, Raw Materials and Ingredients as directed according tocompany and customer specifications•Collects and ships QA samples as needed•Interface between Production, Maintenance, and Sanitation and Quality Assurance departments tomaintain product quality•Perform other duties as assigned
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environmentworking in a non-temperature controlled environmentworking up to 8 hrs of overtime per weekworking weekends
