Salesforce Software Developer at CAI in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job ID Number R3839 Employment Type Full time Worksite Flexibility Remote Job Summary As the Salesforce Software Developer, you will be responsible for coding and modifying websites and web applications, from layout to function and according to a client's specifications. Job Description We are looking for a Salesforce Software Developer to leverage Salesforce's dedicated data model: Public Sector Solutions configuration and/or customization to build and deliver Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements. This position will be full-time and remote. What You'll Do + Leverage Salesforce's dedicated data model: Public Sector Solutions configuration and/or customization to build and deliver Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements + Design, document, and review detailed functional specifications, system specifications, and program specific actions to be performed by the software to meet requirements and business needs + Strong foundation in the underlying Salesforce Public Sector data model and keeping with a 'Salesforce Public Sector First' approach in mind + Participates in multiple programming activities and projects adhering to the current SDLC process and common agile practices + Perform Analysis, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation + Create workflows of varying complexity leveraging the Salesforce Public Sector Solutions data model platform + APEX development (Classes and Triggers), development of Visualforce pages and Lightning Web components + Create integrations using Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the State, including legacy systems + Code review custom developed code and make necessary technical adjustments and recommendations + Manage organization-wide defaults, configuring permission sets, establishing role hierarchies, writing workflow rules + Perform basic platform configuration (objects, fields, page layouts, etc.), creating reports and dashboards, and data management + Creates tables, data models, dimension models utilizing Informatica ETL tools + Produce estimates of time and resources required to perform various tasks as part of a team. Reviews estimates for accuracy and completeness composed by other team members + Work as directed by management to meet coding standards and best practices and should be familiar with test-driven development and 'no code, low code, custom' maxim + Collaborate with Salesforce administrators on release cycles to deploy new functionality and updates to existing applications, objects, and code What You'll Need Required: + 7 years of experience with Salesforce Development Experience + At least 4 years of expertise setting up environments in Salesforce's dedicated data model: Public Sector Solutions + 4 years of experience with Omnistudio and Omniscripts + 7 years of experience with , development of Visualforce and Lightning Web Components, Flex Cards + 7 years of experience with IDX, Dataraptor, Integration Procedures, Salesforce API including REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, MuleSoft or ETL tools + 7 years of experience with APEX, SOQL, Creating Workflows Required 7 + 4 years of experience with Copado, Informatica ETL, Tableau/Power BI, and/or CA Workload + Experience developing through full SDLC lifecycle using Agile methodology + Excellent verbal and written communication required Desired: + Certified Salesforce Developer and/or Certified Salesforce Administrator Physical Demands + Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards + Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. + Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor Reasonable Accommodation Statement If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 - 8111.
