Johnson Creek Village is a holistic memory care assisted living facility located in Dover, NH. We are a unique, developing, 19-bed facility designed to carefully and intentionally support residents’ physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs based on a holistic approach to dementia care and wellness. Johnson Creek integrates evidence-based memory care in conjunction with alternative therapies including music, pet, and aromatherapy as well as nutrition services focusing on a modified Mediterranean diet.We are actively recruiting new team members with a passion for kind and compassionate care. JCV is seeking dedicated and dependable individuals who enjoy working with the elderly population and who are comfortable with dementia & Alzheimer's related disorders. Our staff strive to work collaboratively as a team and aim to foster an environment of support and growth. Our management team is led by licensed nursing staff certified to provide on-site training and LNA certification to the right individuals. Additional training is available including medication administration, CPR training, dementia training by Teepa Snow, and more. Salary is based on experience and subject to increase with additional certifications or licensure.Responsibilities:· Provide thorough, compassionate, high-quality patient care under the delegation and direct supervision of JCV’s RN and/or LPN.· Assist residents with ADL’s including bathing/grooming, dressing, ambulation & transfers, incontinence care, and feeding.· Ability to monitor and records vital signs & weight· Administer medications according to best practice, certification, & scope of practice.· Maintain a clean and organized resident environment· Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other health professionals while adhering to professional standards.Qualifications:· Knowledge of basic nursing care principles and techniques· Experience providing patient care in a healthcare setting is preferred, but willing to train the right individuals· familiarity with infection control practices· ability to operate and assist with medical devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, electric hospital beds, hearing aids, dentures, etc.· strong communication and interpersonal skills· compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and familiesJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diemPay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 24 – 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Disability insurance* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Paid orientation* Paid time off* Vision insurancePhysical Setting:* Long term careSupplemental Pay:* Bonus opportunities* Differential pay* Overtime payApplication Question(s):* Are you able to pass a criminal background check?License/Certification:* LNA or CNA (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Dover, NH 03820 (Required)Work Location: In person
