Software Developer 5 at Oracle in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Description Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is building a next-generation hyperscaler cloud that supports the most demanding mission-critical customer requirements, and operates at cloud scale to provide a secure, distributed, and multi-tenant cloud environment. You will be joining a team focused on helping Oracle's top customers transform their business by acting as a liaison between the Oracle engineering, sales, and leadership team, and the customer. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, business partners, and sales teams, and directly with customers as an evangelist for OCI. You will interact directly with customer leadership, up to the executive level. By leveraging your industry knowledge and experience in networking, computing, Storage, AI/ML, and/or containers, you will become a trusted advisor for our key customers and help guide them on their journey to OCI. As a Consulting Member of Technical staff, you will play a crucial role in our sales process by working closely with the sales team, customers, and OCI engineering teams to design and propose cloud-based solutions tailored to our client's needs. You will leverage your deep technical expertise and excellent communication skills to influence and guide customers on their cloud journey. The people in this role need to be as adept at customer engagement as they are at the technology. You will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading technical/functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Act as a technical resource and mentor. Focus on large or complex customer scenarios that need creative and complex solutions. Lead any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
