Job DescriptionThe New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) invests in a network of community-based organizations and programs to alleviate the effects of poverty and toprovide opportunities for New Yorkers and communities to flourish.The IT Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for:-Designing, developing and executing tests that can verify a software projects functionality and performance Conduct manual testing to ensure the developed software performs in accordance withthe requirements and is in a bug free state to be released for User Acceptance Testing.-Review software requirements and create test cases. Collaborate with colleagues to confirm testing results.-Coordinate and prioritize testing activities with colleagues and obtain authorization foraccuracy.-To provide assistance and feedback with team members to validate test results. Ability to execute all test cases.-Manage, report and triage defects among the application team Define severity and priority for each defect reported with status Perform regression testing for code changes that applies to defectsQualifications1. A certificate from an accredited technical school (approximately 675 hours) with a specialization in computer operations, and two years of satisfactory full-time computer operations experience, in a large-scale networked, multi- tiered, or mainframe computer environment, or two years of satisfactory data communications network experience working in a mainframe or multi-tiered computer environment; or2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and three years of satisfactory full-time experience as described in "1" above; or3. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and four years of satisfactory full-time experience as describedin "1" above; or4. A satisfactory combination of education and/or experience equivalent to "1", "2",or "3" above.
