Configure, develop, maintain and support Micron and third-party applications. Create and analyze software specifications, and research, design, document, modify, and support software throughout the development life cycle. Provide solutions that create business value while at the same time minimizing negative impact through defects, downtime, or performance degradation. Design, develop, test, and release software related to the Automated Materials Handling System (AMHS) software architecture. Monitor and react to line & IT system performance metrics/indicators. Design and build various support, maintenance, and metrics gathering utilities. Gather and analyze data to support automation and customer teams. Define and make suggestions that improve performance and process issues. Solve software defects. May telecommute part-time. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
