About the Role: This position works closely with the assistant manager and/or branch manager to attain branch and Bank goals. This role includes assisting in managing a team responsible for exceptional customer service standards, operational soundness, and revenue generation while learning the duties and responsibilities of an assistant manager. + Act as backup to the personal banking team to open new accounts, receive loan requests, and gather credit-related information. + Work with branch officer and/or branch manager to become proficient in the following areas: + Ensure the branch is operationally sound Monitor sales and service goals. + Process and oversee technical tasks such as opening and closing of the branch, overdraft monitoring, wire transfers and collections, stop payments, and monitoring branch controls. + Routinely and consistently provide guidance and training. + Help to resolve conflicts. + Back up new accounts. + Back up teller line. + Pass personal banking training. + Learn about satisfactory audits. + Learn about employee management and training. + Servicelesscomplex accounts. + Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training.
