Position: Permanent MD/DO - GastroenterologistLocation: Rutland, Killington, Vermont
Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal disorders, including liver diseases, inflammatory bowel diseases, and gastrointestinal cancers.Perform a range of endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.Conduct patient consultations, follow-up visits, and health screenings to monitor patient progress.Educate patients and their families on gastrointestinal health, treatment options, and preventive measures.Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.
Qualifications:Board-certified or board-eligible MD/DO in Gastroenterology.Active Vermont medical license or eligibility to obtain one.Proven experience in performing endoscopic procedures and managing gastrointestinal disorders.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
