Certification Details BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Travel experience required Job Details Experience with vascular surgery population, as that is our heavy population AAA repair, Carotid endarterectomy, Fem-pop bypass and similar surgeries, Thrombectomy Experience with carotids, pneumonectomy, post thoracic surgery Experience with evar, intra aortic balloon pump, TAVR This is a mixed acuity unit Can float to stepdown Max ratio is 1:4- 1:5 and as low as 1:2, varying on the acuity of the patient. Travel experience required Assessment tools: Stroke signs/symptoms competency (ex. BE-FAST) NIHSS Certified (current certificate on file, obtained within 2 years of start date) Bedside Dysphagia screening competency (on file) Minimum 1-year experience working in a certified stroke center critical care unitpreferred Familiar with current Stroke guidelines and performance measures for Acute Ischemic and Hemorrhagic strokes Orientations every Monday Meditech experience preferred Job Requirements Ratios: 1:2-3 for Unit patients, 1:4-5 for step-down acuity Years of Experience REQ: 2 as RN, 1 travel First-timers Accepted: Y/N: N Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs?
