Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This is a permanent position that offers the unique opportunity to take on challenging and rewarding tasks in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, and forecasting. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in accounting, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for making a difference in a growing organization.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
2. Participating in regular tax audits and payroll.
3. Preparing budgeting reports and forecasting revenue.
4. Managing month-end and year-end closing.
5. Monitoring the daily performance of the accounting department.
6. Organizing financial data into useable information and maintain updated records.
7. Tracking the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
8. Ensuring compliance with the law.
9. Collaborating with external auditors when needed.
10. Establishing and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
2. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
4. Understanding of data analysis and forecasting.
5. Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software (e.g. SAP).
6. An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
7. Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
8. A strong problem solver with a high level of accuracy.
9. Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.
10. Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems.
11. Exceptional time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
