Job DetailsAs part of a management group, the Senior Tax Manager will direct a variety of tax compliance and consulting services to a diverse clientele. The Senior Tax Manager responsibilities will include several elements of multiple tax services engagements including scheduling/budgeting, review, staff supervision and technical instruction, staff development and client interaction. Project management responsibilities include tax research, engagement administration, as well as identifying new or expanded service opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Execute work as a loyal, trustworthy, collaborative business advisor and client advocate and understand what is important to the client
Identify and articulate client issues/opportunities; ability to communicate technical issues and conclusions in a non-technical manner to clients
Lead engagements managing the relationship with a focus on high quality tax service
Engage, motivate, supervise team members and provide timely feedback
Review tax returns and work papers, formulate conclusions consistent with firm policies and professional standards, and determine implications and best course of action for client
Conduct tax research, draft tax memoranda and communicate the findings with clients
Qualifications:
Ability to serve clients in both the areas of consulting and compliance
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
CPA license required
