The ideal candidate will be a driven and innovative professional with a background in Injection Molding, Automation Projects, and PLC Programming. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our company's growth and success. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes using principles of injection molding.
- Lead and manage automation projects to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Program PLCs to control machinery and processes, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure product consistency and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related concerns.
- Assist in the development of plant layouts, workflow, and accident prevention measures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, systems, and equipment.
- Train and mentor junior staff in manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to ensure the company's manufacturing processes remain competitive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Proven experience in Injection Molding Engineering, Automation Projects, and PLC Programming.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency with CAD software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead projects from conception to completion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make decisions based on sound judgement.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
