This role combines technical expertise with business acumen, requiring you to leverage both your engineering knowledge and interpersonal skills to demonstrate how our client's innovative software solutions can address complex customer needs.

Their software is utilized across various engineering disciplines, making this an ideal position for someone who thrives on understanding and explaining interdisciplinary technical concepts.

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will:

  • Drive the sales process from initial contact to closure through various communication channels
  • Develop and nurture accounts within assigned territories or industries
  • Articulate the value of advanced simulation software to potential clients
  • Present software capabilities at seminars, conferences, and customer sites
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and legal teams

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An advanced degree in engineering, physical sciences, or a related field (Master's preferred, or Bachelor's with relevant experience)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
  • A keen interest in physics-based modeling and simulation
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for events and client meetings (less than 10%)
