Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Network Engineer to join our fast-paced team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent role that will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be part of a systems engineering team that ensures the stability of the operational systems, join in the planning and implementation of projects, and help develop innovative solutions for network issues.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, set up, and configure complex switching environments and complex wireless networks that support open or secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications.
2. Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking (LAN) and Wide Area Networking (WAN).
3. Assist in the design of multi-server environments including IP address schemes, DNS, DHCP, Ethernet, and WIFI.
4. Configure and install client and server network software for upgrading and maintaining network systems.
5. Maintain multi-site network operations and software applications, operating systems, and regular maintenance with both private and public facilities.
6. Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
7. Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel, and the public to provide technical assistance and support.
8. Supervise the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure availability of services to authorized users.
9. Troubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware and software applications to resolve operational issues and restore services.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a network engineering role.
3. Certifications in CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) are required.
4. Extensive experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, and firewalls.
5. Proficiency in managing LAN/WAN networks.
6. Hands-on experience with Solarwinds NPM and NTA is preferred.
7. Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and VPN.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
9. Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
10. Strong knowledge of network security and various forms of threats (malware, ransomware, etc.)
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
