Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with experience in Trust & Estate law to join our dynamic legal team.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys and clients to provide comprehensive legal support.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of court procedures, legal terminology, and court documents. T

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with preparation of wills, trusts, and estate planning documents.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case preparation.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and briefs.
  • Manage and organize complex probate and trust administration files.
  • Coordinate with clients, court officials, and other legal professionals in a professional manner.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, and government regulations relating to trusts and estates.
  • Assist in court proceedings as required, including providing support during trials.
  • Perform administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, maintaining attorney calendars, and managing client files.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience
  • Highly preferred experience with trust & estate law
  • Proficient in drafting and interpreting legal documents, specifically court documents.
  • Strong knowledge of legal research methods and legal terminology.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
  • Paralegal certification is a plus.
