Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year
A bit about us:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Lead Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on ground-up hotel construction, for a very reputable and long standing firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction from the field and driving the schedule for a successful project completion. This is a traveling position.

Job Details:
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and supervising all construction activities.
- Directing all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
- Reading and understanding construction documents, including plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Coordinating with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors.
- Ensuring all construction work is carried out in accordance with design development and construction documents.
- Maintaining job site control, including layout, safety, and quality control.
- Resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, ensuring the project is kept on schedule.
- Preparing, scheduling, and supervising completion of final punch list.
- Promoting job site safety, encouraging safe work practices, and rectifying job site hazards immediately.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
- A proven track record of successfully completed high-rise, concrete projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and understanding of building materials, construction equipment, and tools.
- Proficient in reading and understanding construction documents, including plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel frequently and for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of construction health and safety regulations.
- A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred but not required.
