We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Accounting Analyst for a permanent position in our thriving manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our financial team, responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including month-end close, financial reporting, and financial analysis. Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded in a timely manner.
- Preparing and analyzing financial reports to monitor the company's performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Utilizing SAP and Excel to manage and analyze financial data and generate reports.
- Maintaining the integrity of the general ledger by verifying all entries and reconciling any discrepancies.
- Conducting detailed financial analysis to aid in decision-making and strategy development.
- Collaborating with other members of the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve financial reporting accuracy.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Providing support to internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records are compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this critical role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
- Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work output.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
