Salary: $95,000 - $135,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Hybrid Subcontracts Administrator in the Medical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the subcontract life cycle, from proposal preparation to contract closeout. This role requires a deep understanding of the federal acquisition regulations, GSA process and schedule, SAM, CPARS, and NDAs. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to review complex contracts and create compelling proposals.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Administer all phases of the subcontract life cycle, including pre-award, award, post-award, and closeout.
  2. Develop and negotiate subcontract terms and conditions.
  3. Review and interpret complex contracts to ensure compliance with company policy, government specifications, and other requirements.
  4. Maintain a thorough understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), GSA process, and GSA schedule.
  5. Utilize SAM and CPARS to manage government contracts.
  6. Understand and manage NDAs to protect sensitive company information.
  7. Create compelling proposals that meet the needs of both the company and the customer.
  8. Collaborate with various departments, such as legal, finance, and operations, to ensure contracts are executed smoothly and efficiently.
  9. Conduct risk assessments on potential contracts and provide strategic recommendations.
  10. Regularly report to management on the status of subcontracts, including any potential issues or risks.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in subcontract administration or a related role in the medical industry.
  3. Extensive knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), GSA process, and GSA schedule.
  4. Proficiency in SAM and CPARS.
  5. Experience in reviewing, interpreting, and managing complex contracts.
  6. Strong understanding of NDAs and their application in the business environment.
  7. Proven ability to create effective proposals.
  8. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management.
  9. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and provide strategic recommendations.
  10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  11. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, both independently and as part of a team.
  12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
