A bit about us:Based in the Newark Ohio area, we are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced 1st Shift MultiCraft Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Engineering industry. As a MultiCraft Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex machinery and equipment. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, utilizing your skills in electrical, mechanical, metal fabrication, and PLC.

Job Details:
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and minimal downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and PLC system issues.
- Fabricate and modify metal components as required.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement operational improvements and new installations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities and repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Train and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs and maintenance.
- Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.
- Proven expertise in electrical, mechanical, metal fabrication, and PLC.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High level of physical fitness, able to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, if required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Completion of a relevant trade certification or diploma is preferred.
