Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per year

We are in support of an established and nationally recognized non-profit organization who is in need of a great Controller to lead their accounting team.

Responsibilities:

1. Process financial transactions for entities w/in the network:
2. Record weekly cash deposits from different entities
3. Document EFT receipts and revenue accruals
4. Create and manage bank and journal entries
5. Manage accounts receivable:
6. Generate invoices
7. Oversee collection process
8. Ensure timely month-end close:
9. Meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines
10. Maintain accuracy in financial reporting
11. Perform monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet items
12. Analyze financial data:
13. Review transaction reports and financial statements
14. Collaborate with accounting team and finance department
15. Support compliance efforts:
16. Assist in reviewing revenue and expense classifications for special programs
17. Ensure proper utilization of grant funds
18. Prepare for audits:
19. Help entities implement appropriate financial controls
20. Verify that funds are used to improve student outcomes
