Must have candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.Certification CSTAt least 2 years experience in High Risk OBNurses with at least 3 years experiences in High Risk OBCurrent certification in Advance EFM/AWHONN Intermediate EFMPreferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.High Risk OB including Massive transfusionExperience with PASD (placenta accretes spectrum disorders)Schedule Information
Shift: 12 hours 7a-7p/7p-7aWeekends: 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period is requiredScheduling is self-scheduling working amongst the team membersUnit Specific Information
Location: Building: SAMC, Floor: 2 NorthFacility Department Number: 70777 Labor and DeliveryNumber of Beds LDR 12 beds, 5 Ante Partum Beds, 4 OBED, 3 OR RoomsNumber of Staff 72 (nursing, CST, and schedulers)Patient Ratios 1:2 and 1:1 with transition and acuity basedType of equipment Alaris Pumps, CADD epidural pumps, EMR CPN and MeditechTypical hiring profile: Skill Set Most recruited for (Travel RNs Certified Surgical Techs)List typical procedures performed on unit(s): C-sections, SVD, D&C, D&E, twin deliveries with both c-section SVD, Scheduled and nonscheduled emergent C-Hysterectomy, Massive TransfusionDress Code: Scrub Color - CST sky blue scrubsHighly engaged staff members and team orientatedGood mix of Tenure staff and 1-2 year nurses on both days and nightsPhysicians engages and maintain great relations with staffManagement team Highly engaged and often round on night shift and weekend teamAdditional Details
