Job Summary
Responsible for compiling and analyzing financial and/or operational costs/benefits associated with assigned areas. Provide solutions to management based on findings from data analysis and trends to include the development of metrics, preparation of reports, graphs, and charts to support the analysis.
Education & Experience
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience• 2-4 years' experience in analyzing, modeling, and forecasting data• 4 years' experience in an accounting related field• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint• US Citizenship• Must be able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation
Preferred:
• 4 years in analyzing, modeling, and forecasting data• PeopleSoft experience• Proficient in nVision and Query
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the modeling and development of assigned areas and analysis for the annual budget• Performs a variety of analysis and reporting to provide ongoing information, compiles relevant information, makes comparisons and evaluates results. Prepares a variety of financial data, information, and studies in a clear, concise format, month-end financial reports, and provides variance analysis. Identify, initiate, research, and prepare evaluations on issues related to compensation and benefits costs• Review assigned accounts monthly to ensure accurate coding and propose accruals for missing expenses• Present results of analysis to financial and business leaders to include department management, assist in coordinating and executing the monthly forecasting process• Research, compile, and analyze data in order to create standard reports that provide solutions to management on issues• Develops and maintains manual procedures and documentation that supports departmental policies and procedures.• Develops and maintains manual procedures and documentation that supports departmental policies and procedures.• Strong working knowledge of data modeling, trend, and gap analysis• Perform other duties as assigned

Computer Literacy:
Ability to function in a multi-system Microsoft environment using Word, Outlook, TriWest Intranet, the Internet, and department software applications. High level of expertise in Excel needed.
