We are seeking a skilled CVIR Technologist to support both Hopewell and RMC locations. This is a 12-week assignment with the following schedule and requirements:
Schedule:
7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 4x10-hour shiftsMonday - Friday with call on weekendsCall required: Minimum of 10 days per month with a 30-minute response time for call shiftsEvery other holiday required
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years of current experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) or Cath LabRequired certifications: ARRT, BLS, ACLSActive NJ License in hand
Responsibilities:
Assist interventional radiologists during procedures by preparing and operating equipment, ensuring accurate visualization of the treated area.Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort.Operate and maintain a variety of radiological equipment.Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect both patients and staff.Assist in post-procedural care, including patient transfers and providing post-procedure instructions.Maintain a sterile environment in the interventional suite.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including radiologists, nurses, and other medical professionals.Document and maintain accurate patient records, including procedure reports and imaging data.Ensure the interventional suite is well-stocked, organized, and ready for procedures.Additional Information:
