In this role, you will be working as a Robotics Programmer for a client that works in Manufacturing. This position will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing robots and automated production systems.
This position is a full-time, direct hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.
Job RequirementsRobotic cell set up and changeover including program touch up, end-of-arm tooling adjustment, and fixture set-up and adjustment to achieve 1st piece approval.Use of hand tools, power tools, and various measuring / testing devices related to robots, welding, and pneumatic / hydraulic fixtures and equipment.Assist in the design, configuration, or installation of robotic systems.Basic troubleshooting of automated processes including mechanical and electrical problem solving.Actively promote quality, safety, and efficiency.Read and comprehend documents such as work instructions, equipment manuals / diagrams, and part drawings. Ability to write routine reports and correspondenceBasic math skills and understanding of measurements such as distance, pressure, angles, and percentages. Ability to analyze data.Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, stand, sit, kneel, crouch, and climb a ladder.High school diploma or GEDCertified robot training preferredProficiency with Fanuc and ABB RobotsFamiliarity with resistance welding and laser cutting
