Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Audit/Assurance Manager to join our Accounting and Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our audit team, provide mentorship to junior staff, and deliver exceptional client services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the public sector or not-for-profit industries.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leading and managing multiple audit engagements to deliver quality audit services to our clients.
  2. Providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff to enhance their professional growth and development.
  3. Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships through superior client services.
  4. Overseeing the planning, execution, and wrap-up of audit engagements, including risk assessment, audit scoping, devising audit plan, and reviewing audit work papers.
  5. Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
  6. Providing expert insights and recommendations based on audit findings.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of audit/assurance experience in public accounting or relevant industry
  2. Must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  3. Proven experience in leading and managing multiple audit engagements.
  4. In-depth knowledge and understanding of the public sector and/or not-for-profit industries.
  5. Strong mentorship skills with the ability to develop and guide junior staff.
  6. Excellent client services skills with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
