**Job Description:**
- Located in the high desert of southeastern Arizona, our facility serves residents and surrounding communities with a population of more than 131,000 people.- The emergency department provides comprehensive care with a focus on trauma, cardiac, psych, and stroke patients.- Patient ratios are maintained at 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical care, and 6:1 for fast track.- Candidates should be hard-working, resilient, team-oriented, and easygoing.- The role requires proficiency in handling equipment and using Electronic Health Records (EHR), specifically Cerner.- Serve a diverse patient population including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients.- Weekend hours involve 4 weekend shifts over 4 weeks, with no call requirements.- Dress code requires scrubs, allowing for any color or print, but excludes non-scrub items such as t-shirts, open-toe shoes, hoodies, and leggings.- The position is a replacement for permanent staff, focusing on maintaining high standards of emergency nursing care.
