Come work where you can make a difference every day, with opportunities for growth and development, in a great place to call home!The OpportunityWe are seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Infectious Disease program at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. This role will provide weekend, on-call coverage from 4:00pm on Fridays to 8:00am on Mondays. We are looking for a minimum of one weekend shift per month of inpatient rounding on the CDH Main Campus at 30 Locust St, Northampton, MA 01060.This position will be in a judgment-free environment that respects all cultures, races, religions, sexual orientations, and lifestyle choices.The NP/PA is responsible for:Performing histories and physicals on all new and follow up infectious diseases inpatientsReviewing by phone with attending physicianAnswering phone calls from providers and outpatientsThe NP/PA will support physicians, collaborate with consultants, nurses, case managers, and others to provide high-quality, efficient care for patients.
