Director of Transactional Tax Compliance -Fuel & Excise Tax

CornerStone has partnered with a national tax consultancy firm in their search for a Transactional Tax Compliance Director with extensive background in fuel and excise tax to have oversight of a team of 10, handling high volume returns for clients across multiple industries. The Director should have a strong background in transactional tax compliance; planning, preparing and filing returns. We are seeking a hands on leader with the ability to handle multiple transactional tax compliance engagements concurrently; engaging current clients and building out new business, scheduling kick off calls, monthly meetings, staff scheduling, monitoring progress, assessing quality assurance and making internal process improvements.
